During the hard time of COVID-19 pandemic, there are many people in India unable to get food due to lockdown affected their routine life. AAPS NIPER Student Chapter can help and support needy people during one of the most challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic. The student chapter distributed food to around 200 needy people of Chandi Kusht Ashram, Sector 47, Chandigarh, India on 9th June 2020. This ashram is a shelter home for leprosy sufferers and their families. Currently, the ashram is having trouble accommodating new people and plans are underway for the construction of more rooms. We hope that our food distribution activity surely helps and support the people of this ashram. The activity was performed by fund collected through fundraising activity.
